The kids helped me clean up the leaves in the front yard. They had more fun blowing each other with the leaf blower than using it to blow the leaves!!:)

Daddy's Lil Helper!!

Kyann found this little white bucket while we were feeding the calves one evening and decided that she wanted to help. We put a little bit of feed in "her" bucket and she carried it to the calves! She didn't forget about it either because every evening after that she would get her little bucket and it had to have feed in it then she would carry it back to feed the calves!!

HaPpY 40tH BiRtHdAy CaLvIn!!!

Calvin 40th birthday was Oct. 21st....when I was in FL!! We celebrated when we came home. He wanted to go to Red Lobster with friends so that's what we did!:)

Trip to Florida and much needed update!!

It has been about 3 months since I've updated so I'm going to try to get everything up to date! I'll start with our trip to FL. On Sun., Oct. 18 my sisters, Linda & Judy and Kyann & I flew to FL to paint Mom & Dad's house! We painted Monday & Tuesday and cleaned and put everything back on Weds. and then went shopping Weds. afternoon. We flew back home on Thursday! We worked hard and got a little stiff and sore but we also had a lot of fun!!:) We missed not having Jan with us but she wasn't able to go!:(
My pics are backwards.....Linda & Kyann...ready for takeoff on the way home. this just minutes before Kyann had a TOTAL meltdown. She started screaming and wanted to get off of my lap. Anyone who has been on a plane knows that there is NO room between the seats especially when you are trying to entertain a one year old! Anyway, while Kyann was having her meltdown, Judy overheard the man sitting right in front of us lean over and tell his wife "enjoy your flight"!!:) She went to sleep almost as soon as we got in the air and she slept all the way to Indy!!:)

We kept Dad busy doing odds and ends...he wasn't very happy with us...he said his job was to boss and take care of Kyann!!:) He did a pretty good job of that, I don't have any pics but he took her to the park to play and gave her rides on the 3 wheeled bike!Playing outside....

Grandma filled this tub up with warm water for Kyann to play in....she loved it!!:)
